Innocent American
A man is taking a walk in Central park in New York. Suddenly he sees a little girl being attacked by a pit bull dog . He runs over and starts fighting with the dog. He succeeds in killing the dog and saving the girl's life.
A policeman who was watching the scene walks over and says: "You are a hero, tomorrow you can read it in all the newspapers: 'Brave New Yorker saves the life of little girl!'"
The man says: - "But I am not a New Yorker!"
"Oh then it will say in newspapers in the morning: 'Brave American saves life of little girl!'" - the policeman answers. "But I am not an American!" - says the man.
"Oh, what are you then?"
" The man says: - "I am a Pakistani!"
The next day the newspapers says: "Islamic extremist kills innocent American dog."

even Cherie Blair conceded that palestinian suicide bombers 'must be desperate to feel they have no other option' than to resort to killing (she has to retract her comments later that day as they were made in the aftermath of a suicide bomb in israel - apparently it's unfashionable for a UK PM's wife to have her finger on the pulse of popular opinion/ have any humanitarian feeling in her)
There were hundreds of Jews and Muslims killed in the towers. I knew one Jew myself.
Conspiracy theories are great and some may be true. But we can't say Muslims have been totally innocent in terrorism where innocent lives have been taken.
I assume you feel like this because you believe what the media tells you ie that its sucide bombars/muslims who have blown up buildings/trains and therefore we should all stand united and condemn this.
Well i don't believe its 'us muslims' who have done this so i don't agree that we have to be constructive.
I think people are naive to just believe whatever the media spews out and not even give these other theories a proper look in.
i repeat my assertion, what on earth are muslims doing in the meantime, apart from piping up about how victimised we are and how we are always being made out to be the fall guy?
the more time we spend searching for conspiracy theories, the less effort we spend in doing something constructive
You say ur cousin says that bin laden is dead and that its in the west's best interest to keep his 'myth' alive...well i couldn't agree more with him....i've also read that.....and the other day I also read....that 'al-queda' doesnt actually exist either (its all MADE UP) by the US to further its own 'causes'.
I dont think this is about muslims taking a stance to blame other muslims...i don't agree with that at all.

my cousins from pak who came over this weekend said binladen is dead and the west has to keep the myth alive somehow?!?!
time we looked inwardly and realised even if there was a conspiracy, there are 4 - 8 (or more) brown/muslim mugs out there prepared to give the rest a bad name.. the papers said one of them had tried to oust a moderate maluvi from his mosque because he had preached against terrorism..
we have enough idiots willing to mess around without anyone else getting them to do it
Apparently the bombs were 'under' the train...and to cut a long story short...although i could probably do a JE on this...the whole thing was a 'set up' by our gvt/MI5 to further support...... the whole idea of introducing ID cards...leading to eventually...all humans having 'computer chips' implanted in them.
Yes i know very far fetched...but the thing i have read regarding this sound very PLAUSIBLE.
