I do often think of people who I went to school with. Actually all my best friends are people who I have known since elementary school.....some even as far back as kindegarten. Many people leave OTtawa at some point but then eventually return. My friends and I sometimes think about the, 'good ol' days and remember certain people.....

Here is another funny story...I was looking for a roommate back in Oct. and earlier that month, I was out with about 15 people for dinner from an organization. And obviously I didnt have a chance to meet everyone or get their names. So after dinner, this girl was leaving and I approached her because she looked really familiar and I said, hey I know you from some where and we both were trying to figure out where because she has a face thats very common, you know. Anyways we didnt even exchange names or anything and she left. Then 2 weeks later, she emails me saying, hey are you still looking for a roommate and by that time, I kind of already had chosen someone to live with us. Either way, I still had the girl come over. And as soon I open the door, I was like, hey, I just met you 2 weeks back, blah blah...and then we became roommates :) So the world is pretty small and you tend to run into people all the time. I thought I share this story with you guys. Its serendipity :)

Lots of people think they've met me somewhere before. Even on naseeb I get people saying 'Are you sure we haven't met???Obviously, I must be appearing in many dreams and fantasies!

Actually, what bugs me out is when ppl say hello to me as if I've had an impact on them in some way and I don't remember them. Ofcourse I can't venture to ask them their name b/c clearly I should have already known. :-(

Aangil that reminds me. I made a friend in my undergrad who was in a diferent program than me, she and I lost touch after school was over. I was pleasantly surprised to meet her 3 years later at a friend's wedding but she kept on harping on the fact that she had seen me at another friend's wedding a year earlier but I had ignored her. I was very bewildered at this attitude, why do people imagine things and keep grudges?

I do recall old friends at random. It happens so often that one time I saw an old friend in real but I thought it to be a recollection so I ignored him. Now he doesn't talk to me anymore.

Aliya: I am always reminded of people that I have met in the past in my dreams...Actually, here is a funny story. I have this friend that I have known for years. I never met him but met him online back in 1996. We became great friends and then lost in touch sometime in 2000. Earlier this year, I was thinking about him. Tried to locate him but couldnt really find him. Well, guess what? He actually found me on Naseeb. He emailed me and also expressed the fact that he has been searching for me since earlier this year. So it was weird how we both were thinking about each other, looking for each other and he found me right here on naseeb ;) Pretty odd...So yeah I recall people that I know in the past all the time.
