Islamic civilization.

So i observed a lot of us regularly like to post article regarding Islam, rights of woman and decency.

On the same note i saw that though we like to read such material and appreciate them we rarely live them.

How different we are when it comes to actions. Not only we stoop to the lowest psychotic level of communication but also feel good about it. It gives a kick to our low self esteem and small ego's when we are able to win a point by insulting some one.

I think most of us forget that when you are using a filthy, vulgar language to win a point you are not insulting any body but yourself-

The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger. The Prophet -Pbuh.

Allah will not be merciful to those who are not merciful to mankind. Hazrut Muhmmad. Pbuh.

If some one has made a mistake must we correct them by falling to the same level.

Hats off to Niazmeena for she showed that even Pathans are capable of controlling their temper, carrying out a useful discussion and act in a civilized manner.

Do not let others define your actions.

kaniza Jeenay...murrra i agree with most of your points on how we need to cut iron with iron and all...my point was we need to define what sort of iron we have to use.
My terminology in no way was directed at you, it is some thing i say to my self.
I am very human and have lost my temper at times even on small issues, but that is what in the end i had to say to my self. I i felt when ever i lost it, i insulted no one but my self.
Khorae you would agree with me that the strength of soft but firm words is way more than shouts and cuss words.

I always respect those people who have firm control over their temper but can make u shake in your boots with a single stare.

jeeny i have absolutely come to love you but yeah at times i am disappointed when i see you being part of the crowd that have no Islamic class at all...We belong to same ummah that Had leaders and warriors like Hazrut ALi RH, He was the most feared and most polite person possible.

But khorae as long as you think you are right, i totally respect your choice.
Luv ya.
ps- As far as Yaar is concerned i have been seeing him around for a year and he has always been respectful but fun..so i hope what ever misunderstanding there is it clarifies (:

Kaniza..jeeny i understand what you are saying. i however was referring to our attitude in day to day life.
Just because i try not to reduce my self to cussing or insults this does not mean i let people walk all over me.

Khanfident : Thanks..but i did not get the 'Zwandey de woosi" part *:
How have you been?

umm...it is a lill debatable a topic....yups i guess it has two aspects, i think an individual has an innate sense of decency plus the one the gain from their environment...
