Islamic Relief Dinner in Houston: THIS SUNDAY
For anyone in Houston or who'll be visiting Houston:
Islamic Relief Presents: Children in Need
People around the world are deprived of basic necessities such as education, health services, shelter and access to safe, clean water. Natural and man-made disasters have left a trail of misery behind, intensifying the pre-existing conditions of poverty and deprivation. Children are the most vulnerable to these conditions and suffer the most.
Islamic Relief aims to help these children in need. The organization provides basic necessities to children, works to improve their health and nutrition, implement development projects within the community and support
the children educationally, socially and morally.
Islamic Relief will be holding a fundraising dinner titled "Children in Need" at the University of Houston's Houston Room on Sunday, April 24, 2005 at 6:00 PM insha'Allah. The dinner will feature a live performance by Native
Deen, a popular nasheed performance group.
