A brother I know went and worked at a stand for a friend of his, and said that he could not believe the poor adab shown, the lack of hijab, and the lack of the athan being called for prayer. ISNA needs to stick to the Islamic path if it wants to be successful. The American Muslim community seems to think that if we look and act like the kufar they will accept us. All they do is laugh at these pathetic attempts. Allah warned us about this.

Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ) till you follow their religion. Say: "Verily, the Guidance of All?h (i.e. Isl?mic Monotheism) that is the (only) Guidance. And if you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ) were to follow their (Jews and Christians) desires after what you have received of Knowledge (i.e. the Qur'?n), then you would have against All?h neither any Wal? (protector or guardian) nor any helper.
