ISNA Kickoff Bash?
As salaam alaikum my fellow hyderabad village naseebers..
WHAT IS UP WITH THE STUPID ISNA "KICKOFF" PARTY???? How can you have a party in a CLUB to kickoff ISNA??
Contrary to what many think about ISNA being one big party where people go to the House of Blues, come back drunk and then go back out to whatever other concert there is "2 mins away from the convention center" the next day;
THAT IS THE NOT THE PURPOSE OF ISNA AND IF YOU ARE USING IT AS SUCH ATLEAST BE AWARE THAT IT IS NOT RIGHT AND DON'T ADVERTISE YOUR GUNAH!!! If you want to kick off ISNA have a Halaqa or Qiyam or something.. Brothers and Sisters SEPARATE ofcourse. (It's sad that I had felt the need to say that)
What kind of message are we sending to the City of chicago and all the non-muslims that we come across?? That Islam is one big joke?? We preach to the world about how perfect our religion is and how it's a way of life but wait... those coming to celebrate Islam and listen to lectures to broaden their knowledge of this perfect religion are doing anything BUT choosing Islam as a way of life rather using it as an excuse to party.
Please think about that.. How does it sound to you??
For those of you who are uneffected by what i just said chew on this.. YOU HAVE STOPPED HUNDREDS UPON THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE FROM GETTING THE SAWAAB OF LISTENING TO EXPLANATIONS OF THE WORD OF ALLAH (SWT) AND THE SEERAH OF THE PROPHET (SAW)
With that said.. What makes YOU different from SHAITAAN?
If you STILL want to get drunk and party like you don't know all the adhaab that is going to happen in the grave, go ahead. Just do it far far away where it doesn't effect those who are trying to stay away from it.. and please don't advertise it there either. PLEASE?
