You guys can check out some of the Ferrari pics I toook last week, it was Grand Prix weekend! Didn't have the polarized filter on me unfortuunately :(

good to know you are enjoying it.. hopefully it's a start of a new hobby. I'll warn you though, it can get DARN EXPENSIVE. if you thought girls and shoes were bad, this is much worse.
i've alreayd started taking some shots with it. i totally like natural light better than flash and with the software i can adjust the colors/contrast. it's so adgantageous. i luv the flip out lens.. i just took a couple of art shots of myself to test it out...can't wait to use it outdoors!
bhphoto = us funds + shipping + customs +tax = not worth it :) atleast ebay guys downmark or write illegibly so i save on customs/brokerage/taxes.

I must say though I am disappointed with the 17-85 for low light situations. the corners are really not focused.
how is the 28-135? I want a 10-22 next, and maybe a 300mm. By the way, are you making any money off of these expensive investments? you seem to be spending a lot .. atleast those 1.4s cost a lot.

I also have the 17-85mm IS USM and a 75-300mm USM III lens. I'll check out that 50mm lens, where do you usually shop?

I bought the kit with a Canon 17-85 IS USM. I have also got a lensbaby ( lensbaby.com ) and a 80-200mm Soligor m42 mount from a pawn shop for $120 canadian which is older than me but in decent condition. you may find sample pics at flickr.com

and 29mm + 135mm primes. Just got macro extension tubes too .. this is getting pretty fun. I'm wishing I hadn't spent 3500+ on non slr stuff in the past 5 years now :)

mastermoe, check ebay for m42 mount lenses and m42 to eos adapters.. cheap and good for practicing/learning manual focus photography :)
Faisal, I just got a Digital Rebel XT myself 2 weeks ago! :) What kind of lens(es) did u get?
i like how it allows me to know how many shots i have left in the memory card..it's my first digital so i'm not certain if others come with that same feature already.. sweet shots so far
