Asalamu alaikum Brothers and Sisters,
Now that I have caught your attention, the masjid at UIUC is in DESPERATE DESPERATE DESPERATE need of financial help. The masjid has recently purchased land for expansion purposes and it MUST MUST MUST be paid off by AUGUST AUGUST AUGUST or else we will LOSE the land. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE donate what you can. Thanks for posting this. I agree, we need to support the masjid. i remember eating all those iftars at the masjid - running out of my ChE lab and going straight to iftar..

Is there an online link for donation?

Isn't it pathetic that we have a mother load of high rolling alumni and community members and we can't raise just a simple 200K? It upsets me when I see your dad asking people after Jummuah for construction money. He shouldn't have to be doing this. People need to step up and give.
