JAL Live in Concert

Salaamz peeps. My favorite Pakistani group, Jal, is performing LIVE in concert on June 17th at William Ramsey Elementary School in Alexandria, VA. (The location is yet to be confirmed.) Turns out another talented artist by the name of Haroon Rashid, originally from pop group Awaz, will be there as well. Some other personalities whom I'm not familiar with will also appear.
I am in love with Jal, from "Ek aadat si hai mujhko" to "Woh lamhey" and so on. They became a sensation even before their album offically dropped due to p2p sharing via internet, cuz their music hits a chord in one's heart. Corny, I know, but just listen to their tunes and see for yourself. This is their first time touring the US, and I know I'm going.
Check out the website at jaltheband.com, and find the contact info for tix under the USA Tour section, as well as to hear some of their tunes.

farahchohan: u mentioned that the original singer, atif aslam is gone. i know, i was disappointed when he left, also. :( but, he left after their first song dropped, "adat," which is the only song he sang, and that was back in jan. or feb. of '04. so it's yesterday's news. farhan, the singer of rangon mein (my fave!!), is the lead now, and he has sung "adat" as well. so dont worry, iz all gooood. (got my jal expert buddies to keep me updated on d 411.) let's jus c if they perform well live... *fingers crossed*

lmao! u guyz are soo meannnn. n obviously have much time on ur hands. ;oPPP sowee guyz, i left yall hangin without further info (for those of u that are actually interested, that is... ahem ahem gentlemen). k, so the aforementioned site is moody, n no longer works. im waitin to hear from 1 of the organizers to let u guyz know where exactly it's bein held, cuz first they said george washington high school, n then they said william ramsey elementary school (alexandria, VA). try this site: jaltheband.com, n see under the USA Tour section the numero for whom u can contact for tix. (think theyre 25 a pop, or somethin.) it still says the old location n url there so if ne1 finds out where it's actually at, plz let us know. (unorganized as usual.) n riz u can check this out for their music as well. they're awesome.

I witnessed a semi strip tease by one of our jawaans at the Junoon concert in NJ last weekend !!! plus a hand full of the so called 'compton bred boyz'... there will always be a bunch of them who have identity issues, so just sit back and enjoy the concert... does anyone have any more info on the JAL concert...

I don't know if I'd ever go to shows such as this. They're always teeming with "ghetto" wanna-be desis, flashing their bandenas and act like they grew up in tough projects of Compton. But in fact, they were borned with silver spoons in their mouths hailing from the local suburbs.

THANKS!!!!!!!
I had been looking for this for a while had heard about their concert next week in Chicago. Though FYI for the uninformed the band lost its vocalist a while ago n is performing w/o him (Atif Aslam). Not sure who replaced him. And btw LOL @ the clubs n nightsticks NOW we're talkin huh :-P

yeah! the place was overflowing with idiotic attention monger hooligans who kept disrupting the show. id like to seem em get a few clubs to the head, or nightsticks to the groin, but ne1 who was at that show would concur. / well, intro, they may get close to junoon. but the power ali azmat brings with his vocals and presence will prbly remain unparalleled.

I am sure that they did not learn from the NOVA show. As long as the money is coming in they don't care. I hope they have better security this time. They should hire off duty police officers.
