His "facts" on Christianity are quite biased. As atta says, they are not academically sound. These kinds of things from both sides annoy me.
Some good books:
Theologies of Religion - By Knitter
- quite by him:
"To many... faith is a goody that they got and others didn't, an extraordinary degree of certainty that must can't achieve. This kind of faith is dangerous, for it can be worn as merit badge or used as a club to clobber others" (Knitter, 57)
Intra-religious dialog - by Raymound Pannikkar
- quote:
beware of "cultural isolationism that hijacks religious traditions and puts them in the service of ethnocentric nationalism" - Raymond Pannikur
Both books discuss the different methodologies for inter-religious dialog... much more successful and respectful than this web author's idea!
