Jewel - Foolish Games
I always liked Jewel because she seemed like such an honest artiste and I think her work reflected that. Whilst other girls her age were busy trying to be something they were not to please the public and their record labels, Jewel was exploring the music she was making and in turn, finding herself through it. One can really tune into her moods in her music and something tells me that her songs aren't just mere storytelling... 'Foolish Games' was from her wonderful debut album 'Pieces of you' released in 1995. I remember playing the album over and over, it was quite haunting with a few upbeat and quirky tracks thrown in for good measure.
