Job Search


Assalam-o-Allaikum,

I need a little help from you guys.

As you know I have moved to San Diego couple of weeks ago. Thanks to everybody who took their time to help me search an apt. Now, I am in the process of hunting jobs. I am going through all job boards and applying for any job opening i see suitable for me. As they say, 80% of jobs are not advertised. So I was just wondering if anybody happen to know a company or your own company who are in need of a Network Engineer. I am upgrading my Cisco certifications since couple of them expired and really trying to get into network engineering field. i got a directory from library which inclueds list of all public and private san diego companies, so i'll go through that... and no, i don't need visa etc, no such issues....and i am into junior to mid level position as i have some years of exp in networking. Thanks for ur comment fazman, i'll definitly go thru their websites...i have put my resume to couple of places already but haven't heard anything yet. so let's see..gotta try try again. :)

Well San Diego is the Network Engineering capital of the world. Can't imagine you would have too much trouble out there.

Have you tried scouring the websites of some of the major public companies around where you live?

Do you need some special visa sponsorship stuff by the company?

Are you more of an entry level or a seasoned Network Engineer?

Adding some of those details can probably help you find something faster on here. If you were in LA/OC areas I might have been able to get your foot in the door at a bunch of places with the people that know me.
