I was lucky enough to catch Joseph Arthur at Shepherd's Bush Empire recently. The gig was just spellbinding. He's a singer-songwriter from Ohio who lives in New York. He paints on stage, plays various instruments and tunes on 'loops' which he operates through pedals on the stage. I love his sound and what he has to say. I'm currently trying to go through his backcatalogue, I keep coming across songs that I really like too, so it's worth it.



He's just announced another date playing at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London June 1, and I've got my ticket... I can't wait to see him again.
