Judgement day is closer than we expected...

I was telling my aunt about the pregnant male in Hong Kong and she nods and says, "Tauba Tauba...Qayamat kareeb hai"...for those of you who don't know Urdu it translates to, "Judgement day is closer"...Now my question: is judgement day really closer? How can we determine it just by male pregnancy or cloning or sex change surgeries??? does it really mean that world is coming to an end???

Carramela, Arshia05, there are some signs given in Quran and Hadith, the presence of those signs will indicate that the day of judgement is close. Let me check and get back to you. Meanwhile please stay positive as there is a lot of reason for optimism. Abshaw's guess about the timing seems to be right.

and Ladla is right..live every day like its your last....because even though the day of judgement may be awhile away.....you don't know when your life will end. I know some may think of it as being pessismistic, but I find comfort in that because it helps me realize that I have to always try to be good and earn my way to Jannah....and not just be satisfied with thinking that I'm muslim and that's it...I have to BE muslim with my actions, not just by name...(granted it can be hard.....but I'm trying, LOL....)

there are certain signs of the arrival of the day of judgement, such as: men will dress like women and women will dress like men, women will wear their hair like a hump on a camels back (ummm, check out my hairdo, lOL...actually,I guess I shouldn't laugh :( ), children will give more respect and regard to their friends than their parents, their will be dance, song, and vulgarity received in every home (reference to TV),.....there are many more....but all of them are things we see today! Scary isn't it. DO remember though, one of the other signs is that muslims will be at their lowest point (and i don't think we can get any more stomped upon than we are now!) but dajjal has to come also, and so does Hazrat Isa (Jesus) to lead muslims to victory. Also...it is said that jews will be eventually driven out of whatever land they try to settle in, which would mean they will be kicked out of the US (there are more Jews living in just NY then all of Israel) once the average american realizes the Jews are the reason behind all the corruption in their country (Hollywood, media brainwashing, interest system)

not only that the natural disasters that are happening...sex changes?gays are advertising everywhere on tv?now they wanna teach gay sexuality in school?.(huh I don?t think so?I would never have my child at a school like that?istukhfurAllah)?as if it isn?t Haram ...that to me is a sign of the end of times as well...and where people follow the shaytons path instead of Allahs path...unfortunately we are living in the ages of sin...its way to corrupt out there?religion isn?t first place anymore for most people.
