June 10 -- Advocates for Islam Meeting

In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The University of Toronto based group Advocates for Islam presents
___________________________________ _____
A NON-FICTIONAL STORY MODE
OF EXAMINING THE CLAIMS OF ATHEISM

In the past in this forum, atheism was examined Qur'anically,
logically, philosophically, sociologically and psychologically.
This time, the presenter would like to examine atheism using the
non-fictional story mode. The instigation for this presentation
came from a recent article by an old-time atheist, who is also,
not surprisingly, a fiction novelist, and a group of published and
unpublished letters to the Toronto Star editor around the subject
of the article.

Since this presenter's two recent letters to the Star's editor
(which, God willing, will be made available to participants) used
such modes as logic and science to refute atheism, he thought
this presentation would also give him the chance to share a
non-fictional novelistic mode to artistically unveil the reality
of atheism. Indeed, art in a variety of modes can serve the
purpose of either revealing realities or concealing them. Bear
in mind, though, that atheism in general is a heterogeneous mix
and that some varieties may conceal its antithesis: a profound
belief in the reality of The God.
