Junoon Concert in Karachi June-5th


I just came back from my visit of Karachi and happened to attend Junoon concert. Now i haven't seen concert of this kind before... Junoon is now without Brian and they started the concert at Midnite (Pakistan Standard time that is) and during the first song some one threw a plastic water bottle at Ali Azmat... he narrowly escaped...

Now guess what happened next?

Ali got pissed and said " MOTHERFU****" and "I am gonna come down and beat the sh*t out of you guys"... all of this Live on Microphone, i was like wow... bummer this ROCKS! lol...

So i guess cussing is a normal thing for these Rock bands in Pakistan. The crowd was mostly guys but there were families who came to see Junoon.... So isn't that bit disrespecting to act this way during concert?

Well i get to see the otherside....... (H)

lol yeah so i heard that this behavior of Ali was pretty normal these days, i guess its too much rock n roll n drugs makes u go wild. Though Salman Ahmad cursing was bit surprise considering he is UN Ambassador...... i dont think they do this same behavior when they tour North America....... also i must say Security for that venue was pretty bad

i went to a junoon concert in early 90's at karachi gymkhana, someone threw a water bottle at Ali...they stopped the concert for a while, the organizers came on stage to threaten that the band will not play if this happens again, guess what... it did happen again, junoon cut short their show, yet they NEVER cursed, nor get rude with anyone, they were upset obviously, but that was it !! i guess somethings have changed , while the others have nt (ali still gets a taste of a plastic bottle) !!
