Karachi City Government vs Provincial Government..
This fight btw City Govt and Provicial Govt is getting incrising day by day..As Local Body elections are aproaching ..the game Naimat Ullah Vs MQM is creating more excitement; the city & provincial government continues to concentrate only on scoring political points. Both of Karachi's two major political parties, the Jamaat-e-Islami and the MQM, are mired in trivial issues of inaugurating on even small development schemes.
Wherever the fault lies, the bustling metropolis of Karachi is in shambles, despite the fact that it generates at least 61 per cent of the country's revenue and is home to over 14 million people. Recent studies show that the city's population is increasing at the rate of 4.8 per cent annually, as against the national growth rate of 3 per cent. It is a city that has heard of many promises but never seen any being kept. And the city governance is as bad, if not worse, than its predecessors.
