I think people touch and kiss the face because the face is the most visible and appropriate body part that you can touch and kiss it...when someone touched my face when I graduated and planted a kiss on my cheek...it is feeling care and tenderness...also it allows the eyes to see the other person and the eyes are the doors into one's soul and inner feelings.

hahhaa mann this totally is cyber crack! im on here the first thing after coming home from work... laundry like whoahh.... eating?? forget it... i just moved in my apartment in july... and i have YET to eat/cook a meal here... i dont have any time anymore... and its not just my addiction.. its having family visit every weekend too...

yes, people also shake hands but other than intimacy, everyone likes the touch to face or a stroke on head. I think the face becuz thats how we market ourself, our thoughts and intentions mixed with emotions show how we feel and thats all on the face b4 any other part of out body. Head is where the brain sits and thats how we pat and say u can really control ur brain power.
