How do various men feel about a desi woman making the 1st move?
would u perceive it as too forward?
would it just be a stroke to your ego and nothing more?

Life is strange, so very strange sometimes.
How strange can it get: I have seen this several times: A loves B who doesn't love A in return, but rather loves C who doesn't love B but someone else (say D) who reciprocates the love....
BUT I BELIEVE ALLAH MAKES ALL TYPES OF PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD AND THE WEAK END UP WITH THE STRONG AND THE STRONG WITH THE WEAK,,,I'D NEVER UNDER-ESTIMATE SAMI'S QUIET, NICE SIZE AS ONCE THAT RING IS ON MY FINGER, THEN ONLY ALLAH KNOWS WHAT BEHIND HIS SILENCE!!!!
BUT STILL HIS A GOOD MAN AND I TRY NOT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT!!!
MY MUMMY, WELL MASHALLAH SHE IS A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, BUT SHE IS OLDER NOW SO I DON'T SAY ANYTHING BUT TRY TO PROTECT HER WHEN I KNOW SHE STARTED OFF DOING A PROJECT WRONGLY!!
SHE ALWAYS COMES TO BE FOR ADVISE WHEN SHE KNOW AND I ALREADY KNEW SHE WAS WRONG IN HER DECISIONS!!!
MY UNCLE IS A LITTLE SIMILAR TO ME,HIS DAUGHTER IS THE SAME AGE AS ME, BUT SHE IS SO LIKE MY MUMMY, SIMPLE, INNOCENT, CARING, LOVING ETC ,,,
ALTHOUGH MY UNCLE AND I HAVE CLASHED. BUT MY LATE GRANDMOTHER USED TO LAUGH SAYING THAT NAIMA(MY MUM) HAS A DAUGHTER LIKE LAILA AND AKMAL(MY UNCLE) HAS A DAUGHTER LIKE SHENILA(COUSIN) AND THIS USED TO ALWAYS MAKE ME THINK AS ONE HAS TO BE STRONGER TO LEAD THE WAY!!
I THINK I AM THE STRONGER ONE IN MY FAMILY THAT LEADS THE WAY AND IS POSITIVE AND WITH THE HELP OF ALLAH AM ALWAYS DETERMINED TO ACHIEVE WHAT I WANT!!!
BUT THIS IS KIND OF STRANGE!!
IN MY OPINION, SAMI LOVES ME MUCH MUCH MORE THEN I LOVE HIM, I SEE OTHER THINGS IN HIM THAT MAKES ME REALIZE THAT HE WILL BE GOOD FOR ME AND THOSE THINGS ARE WHAT IN MY EYES MAKES A GOOD HUSBAND!!
I LOVED ZAK SO MUCH THAT I COULD PUT MY LIFE ON THE LINE FOR HIM, BUT HE NEVER LOVED ME AND NOW ITS REVERSED FOR HIM, HIS NOW MADLY IN LOVE WITH THIS SIKH GAL WHO DOESN'T REALLY LOVE HIM THE WAY ONCE I DID,,,,, BUT I'D NEVER GO BACK AS MY HEART, RELIGION, ALLAH, DIGNITY, RESPECT WILL NEVER ALLOW ME!!!
You also sound like my wife, but I'm very patient, slightly quiet, but calculating -except that sometimes the fear of Allah humbles my tactical calculation. (A)

A small story:
The Hawk told the Baby Hawk to go out and prey by itself. The Baby Hawk, saw the hen who left its children running helter-skelter. It snaps up one of the chicks. The hen makes a furious, loud and smoke-raising display of its anger. The Baby Hawk flew to its Mother with its prey. The mum asked about the experience, the new hunter explained the Hen's reaction. Mother Hawk said: "Don't be worried. That's all that will happen, have no fear, eat your meal."
The next day, the baby Hawk set out to hunt again. This time it saw the duck and its children line-up in an orderly manner, the hunter snapped one of the baby duck, but the duck made no noise, no scene, simply nod and continued marching. The baby Hawk explained to its Mum that this was an easy one, and the duck seem not to have been perturbed at the loss.
Mother Hawk said, return the baby duck; for the patience of the Duck is not a sign of weakness, but an indication of the intent to plot a sweet revenge.
Lesson: Don't make too much noise, for the empty barrel makes the loudest noise, but quietly plan for the surprise element brings the last laugh!
my mother is wise but she is so sympathetic to everyone and keeps seeing the good in everyone she meets, although many of her friends i feel are not nice people, but my mummy has to learn things the hard way, then she is back to her normal self the sweet one!
Sometimes i think, that times change and people still don't!!
My dad is the opposite to my mummy, he has Parkinson Disease, but his mind is still very assertive, selfish, shroud and can have his way when he wants!!My dad used to be Head of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College, London. then he left and started his own Computer College in Clapham Junction, but my dad is the total opposite to my mummy!!
My daddy is a short man in height, but he is very intimidating to others,me and him get on very very well, although my ex boyfriends used to always compare me to my daddy!!
Funny thing is that I'm more like my father when it comes to business, people and money,I have a lot of control on my mother, but at times i have to let her do as she pleases as she loves her family so much and i think they are all useless people!!!!!!
The boy I'm marrying is now like my mother, soft, sweet, polite,, well i think his a proper geek although his the only son of a wealthy businessman, i know that i hold more power then him when working, although my future husband is not really my type because he cries when his sad or if i be horrible to him, but i take it as an act and never sympathize, but my Sami is very God Fearing and reads the quran and prayers in the middle of the night, But he really looks after me,

my mummy once told me that the neck is like a woman and the head like a man, in other words the neck can not function without the head and the head can not functin without a neck,,,, bless my mummy, don't know what ARY digital are telling her nowadays!!!
in punjabi there is a saying: "admi hio kakk kai, maggar hai sava lakh da"
In english, "a man can be very useless, but his still worth millions", i think this saying was for the olden days when men were known to be a respect of a woman and a woman a respect of a man!!,,, nowadays women don't get married to anyone for the sake of family honour, respect,children, security etc etc....
i think the girl may make the first move if she felt safe toward that guy and he will never put her down.
Islamically speaking: Women are allowed to also take the first step and this should never be used against her by her acceting husband.
It is more appropriate for the man to make the first move. The allegory in the Qur'an is that the moon is masculine and the sun is feminine (as per arabic nunations/terminology/word origin). So a verse says, "And the moon follows the sun."
he must come with a good sperm count,, as my eggs are in order!!!!!!
sperm represent the man and the egg represent the woman.
