Hear ye! Hear ye! All you opera-philes, hear ye!
A phenomenal "Mid-Week Offer" on best seats at only ?30 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays). Oh yes, dearies, aren't you glad to be alive?!
To book these tickets you must call the Box Office on 02078383100 quoting "mid-week offer". It is not available on the website and getting in early is well-advised. (I got a Grand Tier Seat --- usual price ?52).
----
First performed at the Royal Albert Hall in 2004, Francesca Zambello's stunning production enthrals the hearts of both press and public alike. From the rapturous grand scale celebrations of Cafe Momus to the tender intimacy of the artisans' garret, audiences are drawn from all sides into the unfolding action on the arena stage where passion and spectacle mix with despair and ultimate tragedy.
Staged fully in the round the entire floor of the Royal Albert Hall will be transformed into 1940s Paris. The gaiety of the station cafe, the bitter cold of the police checkpoint and the harsh reality of the students' stark surroundings --- all beautifully depicted and brought to life in every detail.
Performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and sung in English using David Parry's acclaimed translation, La Boh?me contains some of Puccini's finest music.

On from 23rd February to 11th March 2006.

I LOVE OPERA
InshAllah going again next Sunday. The opera is stunning in terms of performance and vocals. The scene that depicts our 'artistic' friends having a night out in Paris is stunningly exciting and sumptuously colourful!
A must see for all opera ... or tragic romance lovers! ;0)
I just can't wait till Baz Luhrman's production of La Boheme comes to London. Now that really will be something to tell the children!!
Enjoy and do take advantage of the special offer peeps!
