after that analogy..about sustenance, you need to fly some kites here...by the way a good observation.Man is the only creature, who must struggle for his sustenance....so how about flying some kites, lo n behold sarsoun ka sahaag will be your for the taking. Allah's favours it seems (H) never seize to amaze ...happy basant. ?!

.....LAHORE becomes a hub for basant family get together...the old young all are part of this celebration....If you were in lahore today...my middle one , would have taken you to all khota hopping's they do all night. It is indeed an event to witness.. #:

well...yes...I thought thats what we already do on naseeb, basant or no basant...lol...but my boys are all dispersed internationally....so I have posted basant VE all over....but usually I just wear yellow and go to some basant party....... But I loved to watch my youngest in his efforts at kite flying....lol...he was bad....but in spite of it bought 100 kites for 'bow kaata' each year...seems he was after all a cricketer, played a little county last summer...and now is in the toronto club.He is not with me this year , and I miss him... -:-

But yes, although i have never really spent much time in lahore (i was in islamabad mostly), I loved basant, i did do a LOT of kite flying in my days :P o how mad and ecstatic i was about the kite and the diff. kinds of strings that i needed.

So what are u going to do for basant shaz :P ? will u fly kites underground?

Hey ....kite flying on basant has been cancelled....due to the death of by passers, from the metal strings being used illegally......but we can still celebrate its essence....
