i don't even want her as a friend. she's pretty n all but she makes sick, her personality i mean..it's like she hasn't been immersed into the human race with what she says and i feel bad if i just leave her..i'll figure somethin out..thanks for yall inputs though, time to go watch some hockey..

If you still want to be at least 'friends' with her, then just be your usual friendly self around her but just sometimes try to mention to her during a conversation, "its good to have a nice friend like you" or maybe even suggest introducing her to someone if you know someone who could be a good match. Trust me, if you let her know now that you just want to be friends......later down the road she will not hate you for 'leading" her on.....

What most men tend to do is they just disappear on a woman they don't like or want. Though personally I think that is cowardly and men are wrong to do that. Just be honest and let her know you only think of her as a good friend.

Ive always been bad in this field, firstly, I always am honest about why things are difficult. Like " I think we have moved apart, we dont share the same things now, maybe its time and the circumstances, i no longer know whats in your mind"....

with that intro, i suppose you can create a distance in the mind. And then you can seperate physically and communicatively.

But guys need to be very gentle and genuine, girls already hate and stereotype us.

i'd tend to agree with meechi & sofie.. clean break (though lvley's advice makes sense in order to be kind/ if the girl seems insecure..) - in most cases you should give the person more credit and allow them to walk away rather than hover in the background
