Yeah it does. Does anybody remember when CNN went into the ooooooold part of madina el Qadima on one of their shows claiming that was libya. i guess they didnt feel like showing more developed parts of libya.

Hey N :) Oprah comes on at about 4 PM EST. I didnt see it when she said it on the show, but its in O magazine, and it mentions something about how Leptis Magna (Lubda to Libyans) is the best, most well preserved example of an ancient Roman city in all of the Medditeranean, it also mentions tours being available from Trablus to Lubda, and Sahara expeditions. I think it also mentions that Libya is the best place to view the complete solar eclipse due at the end of March 2006. I hope the sha3b gets a piece of this tourism pie, from what I see on the net, all the companies planning tours and what not are foreign. With atleast three world heritage sites that I know of, beautiful pristine beaches, hills, and a vast desert Libya has sooooo much to offer MashaAllah.

A few months ago, she was trying to get clearance to land her private jet here in Libya. Sorry this is more than a few months, more like about 9 months ago. I don't if she succeeded. I know this information, because I deal with the same channels for work....btw it was the same with Jon Travolta...
