London or DC
In the next few days I will be deciding between london and washington dc on where to attend grad school.
I am very pro-US, but I would go for London .. better nightlife, better schools/colleges, less violence (DC has the 2nd highest crime rate in the US after Detroit).
Oh, it also depends on what grad school you are going to.
yeah and then u can enter in hell along with samuel johnson. by the way recently its like head to london if u r tired of life and someone will blow u apart soon
t-dou, if you pick london you have the added benefit of knowing that 'the man who is tired of london is tired of life' (according to Dr. Samuel Johnson).. ie. if you do ever have your fill, it's time to shuffle off altogether.... :P
um, docali, lahore is only good if you are a paitoo (glutton/ foodie) or have lots of time to go clothes shopping :P just kidding, it's my hometown, i love it *really*
London is THEE place to be....i'd say if you've got an opportunity to sample a city that is not in ur home country...then take it....coz these kind of opportunities dont come along that often...if at all.
I live in london and i think its one of the best...if not THEE best city in the world :o) And just like LABS says its vibrant....cosmopolitan...great night life....great day life....the only draw back...if any.....is that ur standard of living can be pretty expensive...ie accomodation....transport....food.. ...etc
i don't know what dc is like, but london is cosmopolitan, vibrant and buzzing (cons .. can be expensive and a bit hectic in a rat-race sort of way).. but an unforgettable experience, so yes, move to london
