well, personally i don't believe in keeping a relationship longer than one year before you get married!
I think one year is enough to know the person and make decisions. Plus who has time to waste?
It can as long as you can endure the frustration. But the glue to it is making frequent visits. But when one meets, it is like a honeymoon period where both want to be nice since it may only be a weekend trip. So you may not see the dark side, bad habits, toilet seat up, walking around with your belt unbuckled.
yes and No,
Yes, it depends on the couple, if they really want it to last they will, by trusting each otherand
No, if they don't the trust won't be there.
See thats what I mean Keeper...........If you think that person will fake it then there was no trust in the first place. It looks to like in that example the relationship was one sided. But if both people want it to work ,it will. Just think of it as it was not ment to be. I am in the medical feild and I know many partners who are both docs, and at the start of their jobs they have to live apart. They manage it.
DesiInCali, so true! the longer the duration the harder it gets...Hrao, that's exactly how i feel,it's a matter of trust...if thats good than there is basicly nothing to worry abt, long distance or not. Although, I always wonder how can(or cannot) we trust...and the answer to this question was 'u either do or u dont'...very simple... but the more I think of it the more sense it makes...
well, keeper i feel ya bro. But don't let th e past hold you back to your way in future. I understand how it can be being in a long distance relationships, i've seen it. But yah trust is important, and i have to agree with you the time factor is a kicker, most people don't realize it. The longer the duration gets the harder it gets and more you stray away from eachother because phones and internet gets boring after a while.
Desi is spot on! Comunication is imoprtant but equaly is 'TRUST' with both there Respect forms. Long distance or not thats what makes a relationship work.
ok keeper. I mean everyone has their own experiences and prefrences. But there could be no communication even if you are living in one house. So it just all depends how well you are connecting with the person. Mental connection, physical affection and communication are the keys in my opinion.
lol so u should have asked how many are in a long distance relationship and if its working :)
I think relationships are all about communications, if communication is good any relationship would work, long distance or local.
OK Keeper, I do believe in some cases they do. With the right communication. If the communication fails then the relationship fails. But I was curious to know how many people were in a long distance relationship that was successful?
lol serene u got me on this one..it can be extremly hard at times...there is goods and bads abt it,...but if ppl feel like it its def worth trying...mashallah danz, that's awesome!
