Well for me it would be hard due to physical absence of a person. I do not think that it's possible to keep love's flame barely on emotional connection, conversations and e-mails. There has to be a physical presence of the one you love...daily presence if possible. And in long-distance relationships it is NOT possible.

I understand how it can be being in a long distance relationships, i've seen it. But yah trust is important, and time factor is a kicker, most people don't realize it. The longer the duration gets the harder it gets and more you stray away from eachother because phones and internet gets boring after a while.

Never had one, for I believe it can only last certain amount of time (6 months to a year) and then a decision has to be made who is moving into whose town. My brother's 3 year long distance relationship broke precisely because they could not comprimse: she did not want to leave Europe, he did not want to leave US. If I had a choice, I'd avoid long distance relationships simply because I'd like to be around a person who is dear to me as often as possible and if he lives in another city, let along-another country, that would create a huge vaccum in our relationship.
