Longlasting Lipstick

This may have been addressed in the past. I have been wearing Bobbi Brown lipstick for years. I just love the consistency and it isn't drying on my lips. However, I have to reapply often. Can anyone recommend a lipstick brand that really lasts for hours?

Hi begsy dear...i was thinking of e-mailing u and finding out whether u got the order or not. So looks like u got it and it is doing well for u too. I am so glad for u. btw i have noticed that it works better when not used daily. and about ordering loads more, just wanna let u know that use only pea sized amounts. using more wont help. and all three solutions have an expiry date so u dont wanna get a whole load only to throw it away. order a new one when this one is about to finish. and again i am happy for u. nothing better than a clear skin. Enjoy!

I have a problem with longlasting lipsticks. It's hard to get it off and I feel it discolors your lips... they get darker.

I read somewhere that if you fill in your lips with a little lipliner and then apply your lipstick...it stays longer. I tried it out and it actually does work. :)

ok so is everyone satisfied by applying one lipstick colour? do u get the colour u want? cos i sure dont. i have to mix diff shades to get the shade i want, be it pink, brown, rust or red. i have not yet come across any shade which is exactly how i want it to be!

i am a makeup fanatic and i would have to say some of my favorite lipsticks are from mac..the colors stay on and are very moisturing and theres lots of variety...chanel has some really great shades as well

Well I wouldn't wear a lipstick that is drying. I will not change from my current lipstick unless I try another brand that works. I was just wondering if other girls on here had any recommendations of the overall great lipstick.

Unefemme: Sometimes I use lipliner, however, when I'm in a hurry, it's an added step.

Begsy: Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out.

Fati_baji: If I'm going to spend $20 on a lipstick, I would like it to last longer than a couple hours. There has to be a lipstick out there that stays on longer.

I have been using Clarins Lipstick which stays on for a while in shade 620 and doesn't dry your lips like most longstay lipsticks... Again the consitency is really nice.
