Back to manga eyes, i love them because they look so beautiful and innocent, also very expressive, lots of the characters in manga have neotenic faces which just make u wanna say "awwwwwwwwwww so cute"

The eyes are definately part of the appeal. The eyes can convey so much, when made bigger they just amplify all the vulnerability or the fear or the joy being experienced by the characters.
