Looking for Associate Attorney Position in N. Virginia/D.C.

Assalamu-Alaikum,

I am a VA licensed attorney, and currently in the process of waving into DC Bar membership. I'm not happy with the job I currently have, and am looking for a better opportunity.

If anyone could pass along any information regarding Associate Attorney opportunities in the area, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Recruiters have not been very helpful. They are not familiar with my school (Thomas M. Cooley Law School - THE BOOT CAMP of law schools, lol), so they tend to frown on that. Despite this, I have enlisted the aid of several recruiters and they mostly have temporary document review projects which I don't really have a desire to get involved with. I have a stable salaried position with full benefits already, so I'm not going to dump all that for a temp situation. Most of their client firms want someone with 5+ years of experience and I only have 1.

We'll see what happens. InshAllah it'll be for the best.

i know one that's good: special counsel. try them.
