"Lost" Star Bashes England
Naveen Andrews, star of hit tv series "Lost", bashes Ol' Blighty in a recent interview. Some excerpts from his interview:
"It was bloody awful, to be honest," he said. His Indian ancestry, he said, left him largely disenfranchised in a country that remains dominated by "small-minded" attitudes toward race and social class.
America "has its problems. But there's a sense of possibility here. ... In England, the class system is about a thousand years old and it's not going to change any time soon. You don't feel that here.
"Here, it's an economic class system ... But it doesn't feel that you're going to be trapped in it forever, like you do in England. You feel like you can break out of it," said Andrews, who trades his English accent for a Middle Eastern one in "Lost."

You cant flat out compare US with the UK...the UK is too small, dingy and ultra expensive with a far smaller land area to be compared to the US .. you have to compare the US with Europe as a whole ..and with the recent labor problems in France and Germany cropping up, we know where thats headed.

Ugly, hell yes he is.
Are the brits better off without him?? Yes indeed we are!
Its relative to where you are gonna live, what kind of bussiness/career u are gonna have etc.
Unless of course the people ur referring too tried a business here that didn't take off the ground, which would be a different issue.
