Lovers of Modernity Party (LMP)
I would like to propose a party that makes a clear cut with the past and embraces the present, temporal existence. LMP recognizes that change is not merely inevitable, but it has to be embraced continually.
This would mean that there really cannot be any defined points in the form of a manifesto. However, a charter that doesn?t undercut the inherent inspiration of the party follows:
1. LMP sees the present as great improvement over the past. Despite the reckless behavior of humanity the past century, there is plenty to be pleased about.
2. All LMP members vow that they will happily accept improvements to their present thoughts and action and will not perpetuate any ideologue or ideology if it doesn?t correlate with the greatness of today(1).
a. LMP sees the three freedoms of Hazrat JS Mill (RA)(2) as a good starting point. These include, but are not limited to:
i. Freedom to think what you like
ii. Freedom to act according to your
wishes
iii. Freedom to associate with anyone including having physical relationships with anyone you like
iv. The above three points come with the condition ?as long as you do not physically harm anyone else.?
3. LMP doesn?t recognize any divisions based on religion, caste, creed, gender or sexual orientation ? in fact, all such divisions, if taken seriously, are openly ridiculed.
4. LMP members look up to artists ? rap and rock stars, actresses and actors, and authors who write fiction as relevant role models
5. LMP recognizes that we only have one life and thus it celebrates popular culture -while at the same time promoting safe sex, semi-regulation of illegal drugs, and masturbation(3)
a. Any future activity that brings pleasure without physically harming another
6. Recognizing that females make up half the world population, LMP advocates the motto ?Women on top!? and as such, consecutive elections for party leadership cannot result in consecutive males or females winning back to back. Leadership has to transfer to a gender(4) of a different orientation than that of before.
7. The Charter points can be changed but only after 2/3 of the members from a minimum of 10 members) decide so. However, of those 2/3 voting for change, half must be of a different sexual orientation.
8. Footnotes are part of the charter
----------------------------------- ----------------------
Footnotes:
(1) -- As the charter correlates with the three freedoms of Hazrat JS Mill (RA), LMP will celebrate his ideas as long as they are consistent with the changing times. LMP members will discard them in case they conflict with the modernity of tomorrow.
(2) -- LMP members need not reserve titles for anyone. Hazrat JS Mill (RA) can freely be called JS Mill, the Bad Asc Mother-Fucckker, as LMP refuses to recognize distinctions as final.
(3) -- There will not be any regulation in this activity. Though it must be added that the beauty of modernity has provided us with excessive outlets which should not be ignored.
(4) -- Those not willing to classify themselves as ?Male? or ?Female? are duly recognized by LMP as neither ?Male? nor ?Female?. LMP accepts whatever they classify themselves. Thus they can contest party leadership elections both after a ?Male? or ?Female? step down.

More like 'perpetually progressive'. Thanks for the compliment however.
Vote LMP!
May the light of knowledge always remain alive!
2. i.'freedom to think what you like' ..Don't we all? and what happens to my freedom to think what i dont like? No.iii needs an extension of 'freedom to disassociate..'. 3. What happens in a case where a religion clashes with most of the points in your charter? Another point. LMP becomes very divisive by default when it defines itself on the basis of the division between the past and the present instead of taking it as a natural progression with no clearcut boundaries.4. Why only those? e.g are non-fiction authors not modern enough or are a thing of the past? Or have they not shown enough improvement over the past? Point no.7 is too restrictive in nature and clashes badly with the FREEDOM motto.
