LSAT Study Group?

I am in the NoVa area/DC. I was wondering if anyone is interested in a study group for the LSAT. I am not envisioning a classroom-type environment, but at least a group who meets regularly to study individually and perhaps help one another. It is not a means to carry those who have no motivation obviously, but those who want some company, moral support or help while they study. The basic idea here is for people to use each other as a resource, which can be very helpful when studying for this type of exam. Hope to hear from you all:)

I also think a study group environment for the LSAT can be helpful. As in any study group, you have to make sure you use your time wisely of course. On the LSAT, you learn a lot from analyzing your performance on practice tests, it's the way you improve. A lot of this analysis IS better done on your own but there is a point where discussing your analysis with someone else can be extremely helpful. Explaining/defending your take on some question gets you thinking more deeply about it. I think it's best to study on your own most of the time, and meet with a group every now and then. When you meet, decide on a practice test you'll review together. (Make sure everyone has taken it before you get together to review it.)

Thanks Aasmaan, but I have found it to work; I think it depends on the individual. I do most of my studying on my own, but sometimes when you don't understand an explanation or need some help its nice to have other people there to explain or work through it together. But thanks for the advice!:)

I would not recommend a study gruop..an LSAT cannot e group studied..you can be tutored, otherwise, it is a waste of all y'alls time - good luck.

Hey, I'll study with you. I study from time to time with a friend of mine at Georgetown University. We can all study together! Let's set up a time. Are you doing anything else this summer? I am basically just studying for LSATS.
