Frenchy, thanks to my dad, I was born a gooner, actually not exactly born one:), but I can't remember supporting any other team and this during times when we finished 12th in the league!

Vieira...though a surprising sale, but I do feel he was sold in the time when the most profit could be made, and Wenger had some replacement waiting in the wings, though, ofcourse that replacement could never be ready, till he had the chance to play consistently, that wouldn't have happened if Paddy had stayed. Plus he wasn't in the best of forms for the past two years.

About Henry, it's hard to say really. Ofcourse, like every gooner on the planet, I hope he stays and I have a feeling (call me naive:)) but I think he will, IF his words over the years are to be believed. Ofcourse, how long does it take a player to change the line, 'I love this club and will never leave till they sold me' to 'I love this club but I wanted to win more medals', or something like that. :-/

However, Lyon are infact, quite good:)

you're soooo underestimating the power of JUVE! don't be suprised if they win this time - they're in amazing shape - del piero, nedved, ibrahimivic - their loss to milan in serie a was not expected but then when two great teams come together like that u never know what's gonna happen.

so - let's just say milan and juve can stop any team :)

Shazs- I'd have to agree that only AC could stop us because they have both a strong defense and impressive striking force, besides they have the experience of big events

Adelante- Barca is based upon the game of their REM (Ronaldo, Eto'o, Messi) and they certainly can score but they have a very poor defense while Lyon has got a great, strong defense. Not saying we would beat them easily, but it is more than feasible

Ze-gunner18: My years in London and appreciation of Wenger turned me into a gunner some 10 years ago but I fear that Henry will leave us at the end of the season and without Vieira in midfield it's tough. But coming back to Lyon (my hometown), our force is not so much our striking force as i'd agree that Juve, Barca and AC have more firing power but we have argueably the best defense

Yea, me a gooner-nut too. But Barca' play a phenomenal game. Style, attack, control, smart, and consistent!

Despite being a gooner, I'll have to say Barcelona are a class apart.

They were cheated out of it last year, maybe, they'll go all the way this year.

Lyon are doing well but, it's so early to say that they're the best! i'm sure they're gonna go far - but, i'm putting my bet on milan and juve OF COURSE! :)

Ummm....Barcelona....you cant compare Lyon with Barcelona...cmon now.

It's debatable whether or not Lyon is the best team...but they are without a doubt the most fun team to watch.

How can Lyon be the 'best european team' when there are two other teams who can stop them? :)

Lyon are having a superb run, too early to call them the best.
