studio tech is better and always use loose powder as well...clinique has good loose powder

You might want to look into getting a nice powder, or perhaps a duo??

Stila liquid foundation in the dark shade during Winter is brilliant also...But I swear by Prescriptives now..you might want to read the May edition of the Asiana magazine where they recommended it..fab stuff..oil control, ask them whatever you need for a perfect combination..

really? everyone says such different things about the studio tech, i am so confused. someone told me that studio tech has mineral oil in it, how could it be oil free. i've heard about senna make up too. does estee lauder matte have powder and foundation in one?

lancome color id, estee lauder matte and mac studio tech are all oil free

Unefemme, I would recommend Prescriptives foundation. They make it up for you according to your skin tone, colour etc..For years I tried to find the right shade and texture for my skin and now after trying prescriptives, I would never buy anything else..Fantastic..

a makeup artist told me that if your face gets oily as the day goes on then your makeup will get darker because the sweat/oil combines with the makeup ingredients and changes color. that happens to me so i go for like a shade or two lighter and then use powder on top to control the oil. that usually works.

so foundations that have spf in them oxidize over time and then make you look dark after a while?

i used the mac foundation and had no idea that it made me look darker until my friends asked me if i had a tan. i went back and bought a lighter shade but it made no difference so i stopped using mac and now i have 5-6 cases of foundations and powders in different shades that i can't use... :-
