for real? yeah i heard it had cheap housing. but i thougt it had more of an american muslim population? and its 1 1/2 hrs from dc???? gosh.. i thot it was only 30mins. i never was a city person til i came to philly....

Hagerstown has a good-size Pakistani doctor community... pretty boring, but housing is cheap... a couple of outlet malls... nice, small masjid... growing at a good rate... 1.5 hrs from DC

pretty boring if your a city person...

I just moved to N Va from Philadelphia this summer. I don't know the MD area but let me know if you need any general moving advice.

also, are you looking only for a muslim female roommate? if you're just looking for a desi female roomate, one good website is sulekha.com.
