Muslm men can choose nonmuslim women but not vice versa???? Its not all about a specific case against women, its just a part of the general pressure on women through all over the world, not exclusive to Islamic world or religious issues.

I didnt stone you. I developed questions to answer. I think human rights are more important than rules. Right to choose and freedom to choose!

They should learn to critisize and complain. absence of complaints can not be a meaningfu reason. However, I know many girls complaining from this situation.

That's a tough question, because the biggest barrier will be the family issues and social pressures places upon my muslim community if someone whose muslim marries a non-muslim. But it boils down to compatiability and understanding of both religions. If that is workable, and I don't think it's a bad thing. Who said marriage was perfect?

Even though Its fine for me that people from different backgrounds and cultures do marry, I dont have a good answer about the children's situation :( Well, sure I'd like them to accept my norms and stuff, but this is also the very same right of the mother. aaawwh :(

Well, in my opinion you're right. I, a Dutch non-muslema myself, like people from other cultures a lot and especially islamic people are really interesting, because they are so different from Dutch people. I think we can learn a lot from other cultures and therefore mixed marriages seem totally fine to me.

It always intriqued me to marry to a Non-Muslim, Non-Turkish person myself, just because of the cultural difference. I'm a muslim Turk and people around me who are like me is not so interesting to me. I love cultural diversity and the more she is different, the more inetesting that looked to me! I mean there's always something to learn and teach when you're from different cultures and thats what blows me away! What about you people?
