Well i dont know if it is harder to get a gob if one has a PHd it betters what the filed is in... for example to have a pHD in biliolgy or zoology yes.

But i believe there may be a deeper reason, sex of the person being a woman, race and status. it is sad to note that it is harder for women that are minorities to get jobs or even any woman who thought being educated that we are always fighting for that glass cieling

I know for some jobs it is hard if you have a phd, only because they don't want to pay phd salary. But, I would imagine if you are working in your field, a phd would land you the job especially if you have work experience to back it.
