aabutt has a point, but sometimes since the DO world is smaller, you can also get coveted residency spots within the DO world. i am a DO. email me with more questions.

MD definitely.

While in the end they get more or less the same training, there is a certain (unfounded and unfortunate) stigma atatched with DO. The MDs are more favored to get into more coveted residency spots, partly because of the same bias that the MDs have against DOs.
