"Me and Rumi" by Dr. Chittick

hey guys, I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned this already in their posts (since i'm not connected to everyone here :p) but Dr. William Chittick finished a translation last year, of the writings of Shams-i-Tabrizi, in what appear to be autobiographical anecdotes concerning Shams's time and friendship with the Mawlana. The book is called, "Me and Rumi." The anecdotes shed light upon the thoughts of Shams, who was previously unknown and utterly mysterious, until this work. This is a great achievement for Rumi admirers, as the relationship of Shams & Rumi played a key role in the development of both of their ideas and as people. What's great is that we get a first-hand account of Rumi's great aura from the mind of Shams himself! I must say though, that the mystery of Shams & Rumi is only more veiled upon reading his thoughts. Still a recommended read for Rumi admirers..
