In the UK pure milk is called full fat milk: it's approximately 4% fat.

4% is nothing really and I'm certain that the nutritional benefits of this extra 2% outweigh the 2% extra fat that we intake :P

hey i HAVE had milk directly from cows! for a long time we knew a family that had a farm and milked cows on the farm. they used it for themselves, and sold the extra to other people... including us!

it is MUCH different than the milk u get in stores. even whole milk, which you would think is milk just the way it comes from the cows... but no, it is still processed. no matter what % of milk u r getting, they take all the fat out of it, and then add it back in to make the percentage.

so the processed milk has a very CLEAN taste.... where the milk that comes right from the cows... well it tastes pretty FARMY. lol

but it's still good.

If you are going to go lower than 2 % then you might as well be eating snow....cuz its water and its white.....just like low fat and 1 % milk

milk is milk......and the more fat.....the more authentic it is! LOL. I personally drink 2 %. My mom was buying 1 % for awhile but it was toooo watered down for me. I think its retarded that people make a big deal about the fat in milk..its actually not bad for you.......WHAT is bad is the fat one gets from cookies, cakes sweets etc.....so it would make sense that fat people concerned themselves with that, more then the fat in milk!

u dont have to be a fat person afaq... isnt it common sense, that the percentage ratings are telling the percentage of the milk that is fat.. so 100% is.... 100% fat!

100% is Butter :O
WHY DIDNT I KNOW THIS! O layhna, new doors are opening lol.

aww poor girl, dont call her idiot i would have said whole milk is like 100% too. Im a comp. scientist not a "fat" person.

I dont know about the diff. fat levels, i think it might be a girl thing, ( wow, shouldnt have said that ), because i never ever ever think about how much fat is in anything that i eat. God blessed me with the ability to stay fit, so i dont get fat ever ever.
maybe, when i was a young baby :P
