Mineral makeup

Was reading some online articles that mineral makeup as a face powder was a good option for sensative combination skin type. Does anyone have an opinion or experience with brands such as Jane Iredale (which has apprently especially targeted asians with her expanded color range)or Bare Escentuals?

Thanks everyone for the advice.
I decided to give Bare Escentuals a try and am really glad that I did. It feels very light, great long lasting coverage (you can really use just it w/out the need for a concelor), easy to apply with their brush, good shade match, and most importantly no adverse skin reaction!!

This is a great website to order make up and skin care products. www.skinwest.com I have been buying from them for a long time...check it out. And Jane Iredale are great products too.

Hi all,
I have a very sensitive skin and very prone to breakouts.....as a result could never use a foundation cause the next day, my pores would be clogged leading to more breakouts. I have been using bare essentials for a month now and love it. it's very light, powdery and doesn't clog my pores and guess what....i haven't even broken out yet......I love it...and it doesn't feel like like foundation. I got mine from sephore and i got the package deal for around $60.00. you get two different makeup shades with a warmer (like a bronzer) and a mineral veil which really makes your skin look very dewy :)
plus you also get 3 different brushes.....trust me...all the individual pieces do amount to around $150 and so it was a very good deal. hope that helps :)

i have been using bare essentials for almost 5 months now....and i love...cause it's very light and doesn't clog up my pores which could lead to breakouts! i love using foundation on my face and have had tried a lot of different brands and kinds(liquid, wet/dry foundation, powder foundation) but none seem to work with my skin type...bare essentials gives me good coverage as well as illuminates my skin at the same time...and the best part is it's all natural ingredients so don't even have to worry abt skin damage due to chemicals on my face!
