Miracle in the midst of mayhem

We have all heard tragic stories of how people have lost loved ones. My Chachi's sister was living in Musufrabad and when we heard the news of the quake we all expected the worst. Alhumdolillah the entire family survived not only that but their house is still standing ...they say all there is one crack in the wall. The phone line is still intact too! Amazing ! Sadly tho' all 400 girls in the school she taught at didn't survive.

Morals, I'd suggest making enquiries through people based in Pakistan. Family, if possible would be an even better option. I know many people who are making personal visits to impacted areas, and delivering provisions.

these stories are so great.....also the one where the 5yr old boy was pulled out after 72 hrs......something positive for the rescue teams...does anyone know how much, say if you pay ten quid to DEC ....how much of this actually gets to the victims??? we are having differing discussions here about the way to get the most out of the cash

Its really heart breaking when you hear of children being affected. They have lost an entire generation.

Great news about your family in Musufrabad, you must be so relieved.

It pains me to read about the loss of all these innocent lives. I?m a bit broody at the moment so hearing about the deaths of so many children is nearly all too much for me to bear.
