K peeps, help me out here.... I have to represent our beloved country all by myself for WorldFest Week at my university.... I'm the only Egyptian on campus...and I need some new, creative ideas.
--How can I make my presentation fun? What should I point out as key things about Egypt as if I was promoting Egypt for others to visit? Any of the following would be appreciated:
1. Some authentic Egyptian food that is sha3by (other than koshary, foul w ta3meya, lol) and easy to make and take to school and share with others.
2. What are your favorite places in Egypt? Betsayefo feyn? Where do you live? Alex, Cairo, Gharda'a... and why do you like that place?
3. What is the one thing you hate about Egypt? What is the one thing you would tell people the most about Egypt? What is the most liked thing you like about Egypt?
4. What are some traditions we have that I can do? As far as weddings, get togethers, whatever...
5. What is something funny about Egypt that you can't find anywhere else? What makes Egypt different from other countries?
6. What is a stereotype about Egyptians that you hate? What is one that is sooo true it's sad, lol?
Answer as many as you can please, and please please give me creative ideas! I'm obviously not going to get up and belly dance, lol, but in the past, there's been things like henna for pre-wedding traditions and Araby music on and so on.... and some girls danced and whatnot. thanks!!
