I disagree on so many levels. I feel that today's woman should strike a balance, yes.... yet to say that we are now miserable seems a little much, along with all the other negatives portrayed. I believe in positive realism. But, everyone has their opinions/perspectives, and I respect that.

These words remind me of a debate competition held in my college days where we were supposed to talk on similar lines. I totally agree with the post. I have never seen men trying to become like women, those who do are "queer", and i see no reason as to why women try n become like men or atleast impersonate them. They have their own strengths, their fortes, beauty and virtues. They try to cross over and are left stranded in a nowoman's land. Its a fact, that they are TRYING TO BE SOMETHING or DO SOMETHING they arent meant to be or do.
Its said everything comes back after completing a full circle. Lets just hope that women come back to their senses and accept and take their rightful place and persona. Meanwhile the losses that humanity will suffer in this period will be immense and long lasting.

Well Majajni I tend to agree. Most successful women I see seem to forget or ignore their feminine side as they
feel they have to be aggressive, dress like a guy, talk like a guy and try be one of the guys to compete in a man's world. Even in USA and in the world of today statistics show men get paid more than women for the same job with similar qualifications and i see chauvinism at play in the work environment all the time. When I was new in USA, i was told things like we understand your culture but you have to learn to speak loud and be assertive and confident . I have not heard this in a while maybe they can see speaking softly or retaining your feminine characteristics is not a sign of weakness or incompetence or maybe they gave up !
( I sometimes feel like telling them OBL according to BBC documentary is a very gentle, soft spoken humble person)
