Moodiness and the Thrill of the Chase

yes ok I don't understand the title i typed either..

anyway, do the men here like to be asked (asked out, asked THE question, chased, generally asked in terms of what the stage/ pace of their relationship should be)

or do they prefer to do the steering/ asking/ pace setting according to their own timing

what about those of you who are shy/ lazy/ moody :* and won't be doing any asking - ever - or so it seems. are we supposed to wait .. or dictate ?

*note please try to answer without using the word 'depends', or variants of it :D ie. DO generalise..

yea, i dont mind girls proposing or asking a guy(s) out. Pink, the singer, proposed to her boyfriend. And so did Oprah (I think).

Just ask them, whats the worst that could happen, they turn around and say no..at least you won't be wondering "what if"...but me being kinda traditional in that respect, I would prefer the guy to ask me..

Labs, employers can turn you down for all these reasons and more... Well, they've turned me down anyway. What the heck is overqualified anyway?! They're easily as fickle as women... :P

i like a balance between me and the girl. i cant stand coy girls who blush and run a mile and expect to be chased, and then say "no" (just to make things more exciting).

Id prefer me taking some lead, but i want a response in return too

sahadat .. in the case of job applications you are seldom seen as too keen, easy, desperate, or not very interesting anymore because you can be hired easily.. different situation altogether.

nussi, tell us what other categories there are then

rash, this is not about me but about my mate's dilemma

Let's put it this way. There's a job you'd really like to get. Do you wait for them to head-hunt you or do you apply straight away?
