saturday sounds good. he went from ducati 620 i.e. to looking at triumph daytona's, then almost bought a honda cbr 600, but the day before he was going he looked on criagslist and this guy was selling a 1999 ducati 748s with 7400 miles for $5500, so he went and looked at it yesterday. and we go get it today. i'm excited, its gonna be a sweet ride. has all the mods he'd ever want. in some cases a bit too much, the racing front fairing has the high beam covered up.
> Did you catch that cobra on the track?
that cobra on the track was kinda freaky... way cool though. whole 'nother meaning to tar snakes!
> why do you want to see people wreck and hurt themselves?
these are highly skilled professionals in a competitive environment. wiping out is part of the equation. watching a pro racer finesse a track is a sight to behold indeed... watching them wipe out at the edge of their limits can be an equally amazing spectacle for fans. my take on it... entertainment and perhaps some lessons in there. cool music, freaky cobra, fast motorcycles and racers pushing limits... i can dig it.
hey dood, wanna go riding in eastern maryland again this weekend? my buddy and i are going up to gaithersburg to pick up his new ride and he's itching to go riding this weekend. i told him about the great roads you took us on, i this it would be grand.
I saw this video last night from another source.... i turned it off after a minute, hate this stuff.... why do you want to see people wreck and hurt themselves? i like to watch the races for the passes and successful driving. maybe i don't get it though, maybe i could learn something...... nah, i just don't like it.... sorry....
