"Allah ke bandon se khaali haram"...is line ke kayee maani ho sakte hain. Abd..ya bandaa..is the highest exalted position of a human being. Huzoor e Aqdas S A W ko bhi Allah ne Abdehi kahaa..jabb woh Mairaaj pe tashreef le gaye. Aaj khudaa ke ghar main daakhil hone waale beshak pehle se kayee zayada tadaad main logg hain...lekin kitne un main se khudd ko sahi maanon main ALLAH KA BANDAA paate hain. Kaun hai ya kaun naheen, iska jawaab sirf us shakhs ko yaa uske rab ko maloom hai, kyoun ki, aik baar insaan khudd main jhaank ke dekhe to woh haqeeqat se ruba-ru hoga.
Aur jaisa Allama kehte hain, iska jawaab beshak sirf humare hi paas hai naa ki mul-laaon ke. Humari pastgi ki wajhaa hum khudd hain, humare amaal, humari soch. Jaise Mudassar ne kaha, Quran, jo ki hidayat ki kitaab hai, humari zindagi ki roshni ke liye hai, sirf rattne yaa hawayee tezi se padhne bhar ke liye reh gayee hai. Humne kaale chashme pehen liye hain haqeeqat ki taraf se. Har takleef, har parshaani, har tangi ka ilaaj mukammal Imaan. Guess dats what most of the muslims lack today.

mudassir! n thankz for the explanation. But the second line is not clear or maybe I don't understand 'Kion' did u mean 'ki youn' why.... Yes I also understood that Iqbal is invoking the khud-hi concept here too. So I will try now: Self reliance is the whole concept of Imaan. As each will be answerable for him/herself only. And Iqbal in this sher wants the 'momin' to think for himself rather than on someone else's understanding of Allah's Deen. The maulvi's piousness will be 'his' only in the hereafter.

Well the problem here are discussed is little bit related to our history, if we know it very well the 700-1300 AD was the golden era for Muslim, and the reason we were thriving and growing was obvious because we did the following

1) People read the Koran and Sunah and then applied it thoroughly in to their day to day life
2) They did research as we know it very well, and as Koran we knonw it very well contain every bit of our life, from techno science to social science, and med science and ethical science, they applied it in to their life.


Now see what we are doing? We put everything on the Mullah's Shoulder, we expect them to read and make Koran understandable to us, we expect things from them, and not doing any research on personal level. Thats the problem with us. Thats why he said ..."Apnay Dil say poch ..." means ask from ur ownself, kion kay Dil kabhi jhot nahi bolta. And ask from your heart kay why we are not thriving and prospering , why we are so naive about some matters and totally depend on the Mullahs and ask everything from them, we ask the Mullahs to recite Koran in our home, why can't we do it for ourself? U know the custom South Asian Countries, they call students from Madrasah and ask them to recite.

We dont do our own things, we just put loads of burden on the Imams and Mullahs of our Mosque, why can't we do anything by ourself? we think that Waking Up, Job, Back Home and Sleep is the only mantra of our life?

Thats what the Iqbal say.... figure out the reason why the Haram is empty, why no more prosperity no more unity among Muslims. Coz we are not doing anything on Personal Level, everything start from Personal Level then the ripple effect and boom! there u go the superb muslim community, everything start from inside, from micro-level then it reaches to the macro-level.

Please pray that we should get that kind of in-sight to start something on personal level and then once we are so strong on our personal level things will automatically transform itself in to the Mass Level.
