i think it's pretty much open-ended, just your story... i'd submit your story anyway and see if it gets accepted... it should be noted that this book is kind of a muslim's "chicken soup for the soul" from what I understand of the project

i mean not every story has to celebrate the muslim aspect of identity. like for example, say some dude named Fraz, born as a Muslim, celebrates the embrace of America instead and that is the positive outcome much to the chagrin of his family and fellow religious persons. What do you all think? That too could be a Muslim story. rather than the typical 'i was bad, then became a muslim and everything was all right' etc.

do they only present sanitized versions of stories? can you have stories of a wild muslim or muslimah who lived life in the fast lane and celebrate that life?

bump again... muslim stories had a booth at isna... anyone go check it out? i know they're looking for more writers or anyone with a muslims perspective of just about any topic in their life... hope to hear some more stories
