A BAHRAINI couple allegedly caught having sex in a mini-bus told police they had conducted their own private temporary marriage ceremony minutes earlier.
The defendants, a 35-year-old female student and a driver for the same private university, denied having sex in public.
They told police they were only cuddling on the back seat of the university mini-bus, when a patrol discovered them parked at an isolated farm.
The policeman who found them reported that they were lying in the back, having sex, in October last year.
But the driver, aged 37, said this was not true.
He said he had picked his girlfriend up from her home to go shopping, then they drove to a quiet area to talk.
He said they had agreed to be temporarily married.
"We sat talking and while we were talking the police patrol arrived. Nothing happened between us," he said.
The woman told police that they had gone through a verbal, temporary marriage together, just 15 minutes before the police arrived.
'My boyfriend stopped the mini-bus in the farm. He hugged me only and we were just talking," she said.
The case was adjourned until April 25, for a verdict.

I think there is hidden a journal in the cluttered Shia village (which is full of jouranls on 'love' and 'the potential mate', with comments registered there in hundreds!!!) there is a journal by Shia guys on which Shia girl on Naseeb they'd love to do mut'ah with first!!! I'm sure had it not been to their village being public and all..they'd have opened such a journal like they opened websites that cater for mut'ah!!!
