My feet used to go numb when I ran and I realised it was a problem with my shoes - they were not flexible enough and were too narrow for my feet. So I bought some new shoes that seemed to do the trick. I had my gait analysed at Niketown and they 'prescribed' some great shoes!

My feet go numb due to my tendinitis sometimes when it's bad. Do the inside of your lower legs ache at all? If not, then everyone else is right - you're shoes are tooooo tight. ;) Try runners loops.

I'm going to explain but let me know if it makes sense.....You thread your laces to the second to last eyelet.

Take the lace to the right and thread it to the last eyelet on the same side, via versa for the left.

Criss-cross the free ends of the laces through the little loops you made by threading the lace to the same sides and tie only once. I don't know if that made sense

sounds silly, but maybe you tie your shoes too tight?
